Plan Your VisitThis photographic exhibition offers the rarely appreciated Turkish perspective of the war on the Gallipoli Peninsula, which took place between April 1915 and January 1916.
Developed by the Turkish Government, it is presented here in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in New Zealand for the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign.
The Turkish Embassy in New Zealand is proud to be able to share this with the New Zealand public.
It is a revealing accompaniment to our own WW1 exhibition, For us They Fell, which looks at the local experience of the First World War.
