30 Years on Grantham Street

To mark Waikato Museum's 30 years at its Grantham Street site, a series of exhibitions and events will celebrate its forerunner institutions, highlights of the three decades of operation, the diversity of our collection, and our role in the community.

Thirty years ago this October, a purpose-built museum and art gallery opened in Grantham Street, Hamilton. This event was the culmination of years of planning and community activism.
