Country Calendar: 50 Golden Years

Nostalgia rules as the nation’s longest running television series salutes its 50^th anniversary in an exhibition exclusive to Waikato Museum. Country Calendar is renowned for highlighting the diverse people, places and occupations that make up our nation’s rural sector.

Country Calendar: 50 Golden Years looks at the unique mix of information and personal stories that have made the show a consistently high rating and much-loved local television production. The exhibition includes artefacts, audio and video. While there is an emphasis on Waikato-based Country Calendar stories, the exhibition gives an overview of the programme's nation-wide lens.
