Picture This: A survey of photographic technology before digitisation

The role of the photograph has changed with technology. Prior to the digital camera and computers, before colour films and celluloid there were such things as boxes with pin holes, glass plate negatives and egg whites. Delving into the curious world of historic equipment and picture development, visitors will be mystified by historical objects and mesmerised by early Hamilton and Waikato photography.
