Diversity and strength

Our Te Ao Maaori communities have co-created unique digital puuraakau (stories) that are featured in Ripples.

These are told in their individual voices, sharing personal experiences and maatauranga (rich cultural knowledge). They celebrate the diversity and strength of these communities.

These stories are not just personal—they ripple out, connecting people, cultures, and ideas.

As you explore, you’ll see how storytelling creates understanding, connects us through our shared humanity, and celebrates community, social history and the power of voice.

United by a belief in the transformative power of storytelling, their core mission is to empower individuals to discover, craft and share stories using accessible digital technologies so they become taonga for future generations.
