Celebrate Pride at the Museum
Join us for a unique and enriching experience here at Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery.
This special event features a curated tour led by queer and takataapui staff, who have selected items from the Museum's collection that resonate with their personal journeys and experiences. These items are part of a digital exhibition as part of Hamilton Pride, but this exclusive tour offers the chance to see them up close and in person.
During the tour, you'll see items from the digital exhibition, as well as additional highlights that showcase the rich history and art of queer and takataapui communities. It's a wonderful opportunity to gain deeper insights into the cultural and historical significance of these pieces.
Important Information:
- Booking is essential as places are limited. Secure your spot early to avoid disappointment.
