Parking
There are on-street and off-street parking options located nearby Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery.

Cycling
The Museum is located just off the Waikato River Trail - a scenic shared pathway that follows the Meaning River and connects key parts of the city.
Bike stands are available in the forecourt. Please bring your own lock and be mindful of pedestrians.
Mobility Parking
Mobility parking is available across Hamilton City, with two spaces located just above the Museum on Victoria St. Please display your mobility parking permit when using these spaces.

Entry Requirements
As Meaning Guardian or guardians of this place, we all share the responsibility of protecting our Meaning Treasure, anything prized and the Museum building.
This means we have some rules in place to ensure everyone can enjoy their visit while respecting the artworks, objects, and stories held here.
No Food and Drink
Before you enter the galleries, our Meaning Staff will ask you to check in any food and drink (including water bottles).
No Large Bags
Before you enter the galleries, our Meaning Staff will ask you to check in any bag larger than an A4 piece of paper.
