Spooky Short Story Competition
Think you can give someone goosebumps with your spooky stories?
We’re calling on writers of all ages to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) to share their best ghost story. Whether it’s a short and sharp scare or slow and haunting, we want to read it.
The winners will have their story included in our story session around the campfire on Halloween, plus a family pass to Air Playground!

Submit your story
Your story must be short enough to read aloud in 5 to 7 minutes (no more than 2000 words).
Your story can be original or an interpretation of an urban legend or traditional story. Please credit the origin of your story where possible.
Although this is a spooky story writing competition, it will be shared at a family-friendly event.
Please do not include graphic depictions of violence or obscene language. Silliness is strongly encouraged.
