Join ceramicist Dave Austin and photographer Mark Hamilton as they talk through their creative partnership, ahead of their joint exhibition Ash + Aperture at Ramp Gallery in celebration of Matariki.

Their koorero responds to our current exhibition, Paul Maseyk Jugs in New Zealand Painting and its connections to the Waikato region.

Come along to hear how they stay true to their own creative mediums, how their partnership works, and how they arrive at outcomes. They will also discuss the importance of place in finding locations that reflect the ceramic work and creating mood and generating feeling for the viewer.

Ngaa mihi to our sponsors WEL Energy Trust and Creative NZ Creative Communities Scheme for supporting this kaupapa.
